General Questions

  1. What makes Brookshire Acres products different from others? Our products are handcrafted in small batches using goat milk from our own hand-milked goats. We are a women-owned, family-operated business that takes pride in using natural ingredients and maintaining full control over our production process. This ensures high-quality, effective skincare without any guesswork about what's in our products.
  2. Are your products suitable for all skin types? Yes, our products are formulated to be gentle and effective for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Goat milk, in particular, is known for its soothing and moisturizing properties, making it suitable for a wide range of skin concerns.

Goat Milk Soap

  1. What are the benefits of using goat milk soap? Goat milk soap is highly moisturizing and gentle on the skin. It contains vitamins A and D, which help to nourish and rejuvenate the skin. The natural fats in goat milk create a creamy lather that cleanses without stripping away natural oils, making it ideal for dry or sensitive skin.
  2. How should I store my goat milk soap? To prolong the life of your goat milk soap, store it in a dry, cool place between uses. Using a soap dish with good drainage will help prevent the soap from becoming mushy and will allow it to dry properly.
  3. Do your soaps contain artificial fragrances or colors? Some of our products do contain artificial fragrances and colorants. However, we also offer a line that only uses natural fragrances, such as essential oils, and natural colorants. Please check the product descriptions and ingredients for specific details.
  4. How big are your soaps? Our soaps are crafted in a variety of sizes to cater to different preferences and needs. Typically, our standard bar soaps weigh approximately 4 to 4.5 ounces each, providing a substantial size that fits comfortably in your hand and lasts through many uses. Additionally, we offer some specialty soaps and sample sizes which may vary in weight. Rest assured, each bar is thoughtfully made to deliver a luxurious and long-lasting experience.
  5. How long do your soaps last? This will vary by frequency of use and how many people are using the soap. Our soaps cure for at least 6 weeks (sometimes longer) to ensure they are hard, long-lasting, and gentle on the skin. This curing time allows excess water to evaporate and the soap to develop a creamy lather. The result is a high-quality, luxurious bar that provides a superior bathing experience that wont melt away.
Goat Milk Lotion
  1. What makes your goat milk lotion different? Our goat milk lotion is made with fresh goat milk from our own hand-milked goats, combined with nourishing oils. It’s designed to absorb quickly, providing long-lasting moisture without any greasy residue. It’s perfect for daily use to keep your skin soft and hydrated.
  2. Can your goat milk lotion help with eczema? Many of our customers have found relief from eczema symptoms using our goat milk lotion. The natural ingredients help soothe and moisturize irritated skin, but we always recommend consulting with a healthcare provider for severe skin conditions.

Magnesium Spray and Lotion

  1. What are the benefits of using magnesium spray and lotion? Magnesium is known for its calming properties. Our magnesium spray and lotion can help ease muscle tension, promote relaxation, and support better sleep. Additionally, it provides the skin with the moisturizing benefits of goat milk.
  2. How do I use the magnesium spray? Simply spray the magnesium solution onto clean, dry skin and massage gently. For best results, apply it to areas of muscle tension or before bedtime to help promote relaxation.
  3. Is there a tingling sensation when using magnesium products? Some people may experience a slight tingling sensation when applying magnesium spray, especially if they have dry or sensitive skin. This is normal and usually subsides with regular use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.
